Did You Know?

In addition to the retreats and programs offered by our Spiritual Growth staff, the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth welcomes Catholic and other ecumenical groups who are looking for a beautiful setting to conduct their own group meetings.

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty,

my memory, my understanding

and my entire will,

All I have and call my own.

You have given all to me.

To you, Lord, I return it.

Everything is yours; do with it what you will.

Give me only your love and your grace,

That is enough for me.

—St. Ignatius of Loyola

Messages of Grace: Learning to Listen for God’s Daily Invitations

A Weekend Retreat with Christine Eberle

November 15-17, 2019

Every day, countless choices lie before us.  Not all of them call for discernment, but in each lies an invitation from God.  How do we learn to listen for that still, small voice?  Through presentation and prayer, silent reflection and conversation, participants will practice attuning the ear of their spirit to the One who is always beckoning. The retreat will include input from Christine and opportunities for individual and communal prayer, as well as Mass.

Arrival is on Friday between 4:00 & 5:45 PM, followed by dinner and the opening session; departure is on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

Cost is $240 ($120 non-refundable deposit).

Program Presenter

Christine Eberle

Freelance writer, retreat facilitator, and public speaker Christine Eberle is the author of Finding God in Ordinary Time, a collection of daily meditations based on true stories (Green Writers Press, 2018).  Her 26-year career as a college campus minister gave Christine ample practice asking her favorite question — Where is God in all this? —and listening for answers in surprising places.

Beyond her retreat work, Christine performs dramatic monologues of women in Scripture, serves as adjunct faculty in religious studies at Gwynedd Mercy University, and cantors for her parish.  She is a passionate explorer of the connections between Scripture, spirituality, and everyday life.    You can follow her at
